+ Overview
CMS were engaged to complete an overhaul of each turbine generator machine at Lake Benmore Hydro Power Station. Each machine was a full strip-down overhaul, and the CMS team were involved with both the dismantling and rebuilds.
Tasks included: dismantling and removal of the machine and attached equipment, and installation and centralising of the runner and rotor, main bearings, clearance on the wicket gates and other attached equipment.
